New concrete

• For exteriors, we recommend Nippon Paint 5100 Wall Sealer. For interiors, we recommend Nippon Paint 5200 Wall Sealer. You can select any paint to be the top coat.

Old concrete

• We recommend Nippon Paint Excel Primer, solvent- based for old concrete, or Nippon Paint Aqua Sealer, water-based for old concrete. You can select any paint to be the top coat.

Fresh concrete (painting after plastering 3-5 days)

• We recommend Nippon Paint Quick Sealer, solvent-based formula, or Nippon Paint Expresskote, a water-based formula.

Hairline cracks

• We recommend Nippon Paint Flexiseal, which offers flexible primer.

Wall plastered by cement-based skimcoat

• If the surface is highly dusty, we recommend the old concrete primer: solvent-based Nippon Paint Excel Primer, or Nippon Paint Aqua Sealer, which is water- based. You can select any paint for the topcoat.
